The 1.0 release added eight listed locales: Korean, French, German, Italian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian. The Steam listing separately names Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Latin America).
Changing the game language
- First launch
The supplied release notes say the game reads the Steam language on first launch.
- After returning to the game
If you change the Steam language later, use the in-game Settings menu to change Emberward’s language; the first-launch detection does not automatically cover returning players.
- Confirm in-game
Check the visible interface after switching. The research set does not document per-language voice-over or subtitle coverage.
What the language list does not promise
The Steam store marks interface support. Do not infer that every language includes spoken dialogue, subtitles, or identical translation coverage. Some third-party databases still show only four languages and appear stale against the official current listing.
